Feel Good Meditation Made Easy

Hey there, John here again.
I have had great fun with my new free meditation download. I’ve been “testing” it on everybody that I could convince to try it out. My trusted mp3 player doing the job just fine. There was one question that everybody asked though. How does it work?

In layman’s terms we could call it brainwave meditation. A sort of almost instant feel good meditation. It’s quite technical, and I don’t want to bore you with scientific jargon. Here’s a brief summary.

What are Binaural beats, Monaural beats and Isochronic tones?

These terms have been around for over 170 years, so it is by no means anything new! Our brains, as you know are amazing tools and the brain goes through many frequency cycles every day. These frequency changes effect human consciousness. Because of the fact that these waves have an influence on our consciousness, it can be safely said that the brain can be manipulated into a certain state by, applying different wave lengths. There has always been a bit of a problem here, and it was never expected that we would be able to hear the sound wave, as these happen under 20Hz. Thank goodness we have come a long way from there and our technology allows us to do just that.

Binaural beats work by broadcasting two different frequencies in each ear. Let’s take an example to explain. If you would like to achieve a frequency of 7Hz, one ear would have broadcast to it a frequency of 200Hz and the other a frequency of 207Hz. The brain compensates and creates a third tone of 7Hz . The compensation tone either lifts or lowers the brain tone to the desired effect.

How Monaural beats work.
Monaural beats are a lot easier on the brain and there is no adjustment period like Binaural beats. The tone is constant and the desired effect can be reached within minutes. Monaural beats are better than Binaural beats as the technology is superior.

How Isochronic beats work
These are the most powerful and effective tones. The frequency is equal in intensity and tone. The pulse speed is increased and synchronizes the brain with the rhythm. Isochronic beats use a distinct and clean wave, that harmonizes with the brain much more efficiently.

Wow, what a mouth full! Curious?

The interesting thing about brainwave meditation is that it has been researched quite extensively. Different frequencies in the brain effects our consciousness  in certain ways, which makes the term “healing meditation” to a whole new level. It certainly puts the golden pot at the end of the rainbow a little closer than say,
mindfulness meditation could do for me.

I have been thinking of the possibilities of meditating in this way and cant but help think that the elusive meditation wisdom can finally be achieved.

My wife however has a couple of concerns about this technique. Are Monaural, Isochronic and Binaural beats safe? It has however excelled in stress meditation and I can vouch for that.

However, my wife does have a point.

Remember all those people that I tested it on? In my next post,  I am going to tell you how they felt and delve a bit deeper to find out what the pros and cons, if any, are with my free meditation download
Until next time!
